Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Bells & Pixels collects through this website (bells-and-pixels.com), why we collect it, who it is shared with, and the choices and rights you have. It covers the marketing site, its forms, and its analytics.

Effective 4 July 2026 · Bells & Pixels

A separate, product-scoped policy governs the Iké stream-management tooling's handling of Google and YouTube data. If you authorized Iké to operate a YouTube channel, see the Iké privacy policy. The policy on this page covers the website and the forms and analytics on it.

Who we are

Bells & Pixels is the trading name of Bells and Pixels, LLC, a Georgia limited liability company (registered address: 2281 Akers Mill Rd SE 2123, Atlanta, GA 30339), which is the controller of the personal information described here. For any privacy question or request, contact us at privacy@bells-and-pixels.com.

Information we collect

Most of the personal information we hold is information you give us through a form. We collect only what a given form asks for.

  • Contact form. Your name, your email, and an optional message.
  • Series subscribe. Your email address only.
  • Readiness assessment. Your name, your email, an optional company name, and the answers you give in the assessment (a maturity score, a timeline you choose, and your answers about how your marketing operation works today).
  • White paper download. Your name, your email, and an optional company name.
  • Iké application. Your name, your email, an optional catalog or label name, your YouTube channel URL, your YouTube Partner Program status, your catalog rights, your content type, your channel count, and the plan you are interested in.

Every form also collects two technical signals used only to detect spam: a hidden field that real people leave blank, and the time between the page loading and the form being submitted. These signals filter automated submissions and are then discarded. They are never stored with your record and never shared.

When you submit a form we also record the page you submitted from and any campaign parameters (UTM tags) in the link you followed, so we can understand which content brought you to us. Through analytics we collect aggregate, behavior-level information about how the site is used, described under "Analytics and cookies" below.

How we use your information, and our legal bases

We use your information for the purposes below. Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or UK GDPR applies, the legal basis for each is noted.

  • To respond to your inquiry or application and follow up about it (our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us, and taking steps at your request).
  • To send you a resource you asked for, such as the readiness report or the white paper (performing what you requested, and your consent).
  • To send series or newsletter updates you subscribed to (your consent; see "Subscriptions and unsubscribing").
  • To understand and improve how the site performs through analytics (your consent, via the cookie banner).
  • To keep the site and our intake secure and to prevent spam and abuse (our legitimate interest in protecting the service).
  • To keep basic CRM records of who has contacted us and how, so we can manage the relationship (our legitimate interest in running the business, and consent where the contact is for marketing).

How submissions are handled

  • Each submission is checked for spam. Submissions that are clearly automated are dropped immediately: they are not stored and not emailed to us.
  • Our team is notified by email (sent through Microsoft 365) so a person can respond. That notification contains the details you submitted, and its reply-to is your own email address.
  • If you requested the readiness report, a personalized PDF is emailed to you, with a copy to our team. If you requested the white paper, it is emailed to you as a PDF.
  • Your contact and subscription details may be recorded in our customer-relationship-management system (Microsoft Dataverse). A form updates an existing contact record where one already exists; the site does not silently create a new CRM contact from a form. We also record the first source and campaign that brought you to us, for attribution.

Subscriptions and unsubscribing

Series and newsletter subscriptions use double opt-in. When you subscribe, your subscription starts as pending and we send you a confirmation link. We do not send you marketing until you confirm. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any message we send, or by contacting privacy@bells-and-pixels.com.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand aggregate traffic and how visitors move through the site. The events we send to analytics are aggregate and funnel-shaped: they record which form or link was used and coarse outcomes, and they do not include your name, your email, or anything you typed.

Analytics uses cookies (for example the Google Analytics cookies named _ga and related identifiers) to measure usage. These are set to denied by default. On your first visit a cookie banner asks for your choice, and no analytics cookies are set and no measurement is sent until you accept (using Google Consent Mode). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the Cookie settings control in the site footer.

Separately, this site loads its web fonts from Google's font service (Google Fonts). Because those fonts are fetched from Google on each page load, your device's IP address is shared with Google to deliver them, before any analytics-consent choice. Google states that it does not set cookies for Google Fonts and does not use these requests to profile you or to target advertising. We disclose this transfer plainly here.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run the site and our tools, and only as needed:

  • Google (Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics), for analytics, subject to your consent; and Google's font service, as described above.
  • Microsoft, for CRM storage (Dataverse and Power Platform), for the notification and report emails (Microsoft 365), and for hosting (Azure Static Web Apps).
  • YouTube, only if you click to play an embedded video. Video embeds use a click-to-load placeholder on YouTube's privacy-enhanced host (youtube-nocookie.com); nothing loads from YouTube and no YouTube cookies are set unless you click play.

We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Where your information is stored, and international transfers

Your information is stored in Microsoft and Google cloud services and is processed in the United States, where Bells and Pixels, LLC operates. If you access the site from outside the United States, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States. Where such a transfer is subject to the GDPR or UK GDPR, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the Standard Contractual Clauses that Microsoft and Google make available in their data-processing terms.

How long we keep your information

We keep your information only for as long as needed for the purpose we collected it, and to meet our legal and record-keeping needs.

  • Inquiries and assessments. Contact messages, assessment answers, and white-paper requests are kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, unless an ongoing relationship or a legal obligation requires longer.
  • Newsletter and series subscriptions. Kept while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we remove or de-identify the subscription record within 12 months, keeping only what we need to honor your opt-out.
  • CRM contact records. Kept for the life of our business relationship with you, and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping, then deleted or de-identified.

You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see "Your rights").

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have some or all of these rights over your personal information:

  • Access: ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • Rectification: ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Erasure: ask us to delete your information.
  • Restriction: ask us to limit how we use your information.
  • Portability: ask for your information in a portable format.
  • Objection: object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
  • Withdraw consent: withdraw any consent you gave, including for analytics or marketing, at any time.

To exercise any of these, email privacy@bells-and-pixels.com. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to complain to your data-protection supervisory authority.

Children

This site is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
